JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) received thousands of reports of alleged riots from the public throughout 2022. Reports were received via email, live or demonstration, to the KPK Whistle Blowing System system.

"During 2022, 4,623 reports have been received," said KPK Deputy Chair Johanis Tanak when describing the KPK's performance at the KPK's Red and White Building, Tuesday, December 27.

Johanis said there were five regions that submitted the most reports. The first is DKI Jakarta with 585 complaints.

"The two West Java as many as 429 complaints; North Sumatra 379 complaints; East Java 357 complaints; and Central Java 237 complaints," he explained.

Of these, 4,055 reports have been verified. In detail, 10 reports were followed up internally because they were related to the duties and functions of the anti-corruption commission.

Furthermore, 1,631 reports were followed up with a review being carried out. "Meanwhile, 2,414 reports have not been followed up," Johanis explained.

Kata Johanis, ribuan laporan itu tidak ditindaklanjuti karena tak lengkap. Pelaporan disampaikan masyarakat tanpa uraian maupun fakta dugaan pidanhttps://voi.id/berita/239383/kpk-yakin-laptop-jaksa-yang-digondol-maling-tak-mudah-diaksesa korupsi.

"KPK invites the public to submit complaints of alleged corruption crimes to the KPK, which can be accompanied by a description of alleged facts, so that the KPK can follow up," he said.

Moreover, the public does not need to worry because the identity of the reporter is ensured to be safe. "Unless it is precisely those who publish it to the media or the public," he concluded.
