South Tangerang Residents Are Not Only Advised Not To Place A Fire During Christmas And New Year's Celebrations, But Also Not Allowed To Do This

TANGERANG - Residents of South Tangerang are warned to install firecrackers during the 2022 Christmas and 2023 New Year celebrations. In addition, there are some activities that are also not allowed.

This was conveyed by the Mayor of South Tangerang, Benyamin Davnie. He said the appeal was in order to maintain security and public order.

"You can't install firecrackers, you can't track motorbikes, exhausts, illegal races and so on," said Benjamin in his statement in South Tangerang, as quoted from Antara, Sunday, December 25.

He then explained that the City of South Tangerang was born as a pluralistic city consisting of many ethnicities, religions, ethnicities, and cultures. To maintain this diversity, it can be done by building togetherness.

"Respecting each other, respecting each other's differences. In fact, the existing diversity must be addressed with gratitude. This diversity we have must be accepted as a gift from God Almighty," he said.

He also asked that Christmas celebrations can be a reflection in everyday life to build a spirit of tolerance.

"Including diversity and tolerance in South Tangerang which must be maintained. And this role can be taken by religious leaders," said Benjamin.
