The KPK Finds Rp1 Billion In Cash After Entering The East Java Provincial DPRD

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) found Rp1 billion in cash while searching a number of places in Surabaya, including the East Java Provincial DPRD Building. In the case of bribery in managing grant funds, the KPK has determined Sahat along with three other people, namely his expert staff, Rusdi; Abdul Hamid who is the Head of Jelgung Village, Robatal District, Sampang Regency who is also the Coordinator of the Community Group; and Ilham Wahyudi alias Eeng who is the Coordinator of the Pokmas Field. The determination of Sahat and three other suspects was made after they were caught in a hand arrest operation (OTT) on Wednesday, December 14. This action is based on information from the public who know about the handover of money related to the management of the allocation of grant funds. The KPK said Sahat allegedly offered assistance to facilitate the proposed grant funds, which totaled Rp7.8 trillion. This provision is intended for bodies, institutions, community organizations in the East Java Provincial Government. Sahat received from 2021 and continued until 2022 and then agreed to help for 2023 and 2024. The money received by the Golkar Party politician is thought to have reached Rp5 billion.
