JAKARTA - VUCA (Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity, and Ambiguity) is a challenge to the current world development. VUCA is a very fast, dynamic transition of change with high complexity, uncertain and uncertain in an era we know by term. Volatility means an uncertain and prone state to change.

The Minister of Education, Culture, Research and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia, Nadiem Anwar Makarim emphasized the importance of collaboration in supporting national economic growth and business productivity of the World Business Industry (DUDI), especially in sustainable strategic programs.

The need for the strategic industrial sector is the main thing because it requires support from research & development to encourage innovation based on the results of research in the education sector," he said in a press statement, Saturday, December 17.

This is in line with the focus and national priorities as an effort to implement the strategic development of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemendikbudristek) through the great vision of Merdeka Learning-Kampus Merdeka, which presents the Kedaireka platform to encourage downstream innovation/creation-enactment research through collaboration with the World Business World Industry (DUDI) and activation of the pentahelix innovation ecosystem (Academics, Business/Industry, Government, Community, and Media).

Matchmaking Innovation Forum (MMIF) 2022

In order to strengthen the innovation collaboration ecosystem, Kedaireka initiated the 2022 Matchmaking Innovation Forum (MMIF) with the theme Indonesia Innovation Outlook 2023: Strengthening Sustainable Strategic Research and Innovation Collaboration on Wednesday, December 14, 2022 in Surabaya.

This activity collaborates with the Research and Innovation Cooperation (KerIS) program from the Ministry of SOEs and has a mission to facilitate meetings between industry/DUDI players and the best innovators and researchers from universities in Indonesia.

The Director General of Higher Education, Research and Technology of the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia, Nizam, during the 2022 MMIF x Keris BUMN activity, said that the Matchmazing Innovation Forum is part of the Kedaireka Ecosystem which provides opportunities for industrial/governmental/NGOT partners to meet, exchange ideas, and collaborate directly with Higher Education personnel

"The ultimate goal of this activity is to increase the potential for collaboration between industry players and college people," said Nizam.

This activity is divided into three sessions, namely the Plenary Session, Matchmaking Session and Networking Session. Matchmaking Session with a breakout room format is carried out in parallel which is divided into four categories with a focus on discussions related to Green & Blue Initiative, Food & Health Security, Tourism, Logistic & Infrastructure and Digital Technology & Finance.

The speaker who attended the 2022 MMIF Plenary Session x Keris BUMN was Plt. Secretary of the Directorate General of Higher Education at the Ministry of Education and Culture, Tjijik Sri Tjahjandarie; Asdep SDM TI Ministry of SOEs, M. Rizal Kamal; Deputy Governor of East Java Emil Dardak; CEO of PT Polowijo Gosari Indonesia, Deddy Harnoko Sucahyo; and Director of Development of PT INKA (Persero), Agung Sedaju.

Through the 2022 MMIF activity, it is hoped that there will be the latest exchange of information, related to challenges, needs, results of research and innovation in increasing the potential for matching rates in research & development strategic programs, and especially in the 2023 Matching Fund program.

The chairman of PMO Kedaireka Mahir Bayasut added: "We hope that through this activity there will be an increase in the match rate for submitting collaboration proposals at the Kedaireka Matching Fund program for Fiscal Year 2023. In addition, there are also opportunities for downstreaming research results."
