JAKARTA - The Depok City Government has invited students of SDN Pondok Cina to return to study accompanied by teachers. The Depok City Government will also facilitate students with the presence of school principals and supervisors.

"They (students) who are still studying at SDN Pondok Cina 1 will be accompanied by their teachers, with their principals, supervisors, everything will be facilitated," said Depok Mayor Mohammad Idris, quoted from the city government's official website, Friday, December 16.

The Mayor of Depok 2 for the period requested that all parties who have no interest leave SDN Pondok Cina 1 immediately. Because, it can interfere with Teaching Learning Activities (KBM).

"We ask that the KBM is not disturbed by elements other than educators and education staff, because teachers are also uncomfortable, there are people outside who do not have business with education and KBM at SDN Pondok Cina 1," explained Idris.

In addition, students of SDN Pondok Cina 1 who have attended KBM at SDN Pondok Cina 5 and SDN Pondok Cina 3 can continue their learning there calmly and comfortably.

"But if they are not comfortable going back, please go to SDN Pondok Cina 1, we will facilitate the construction of a new Class of Class (RKB) at SDN Pondok Cina 5 to be realized," he said.

Whereas previously, through the Satpol PP, Idris even tried to forcibly vacate the SDN land. The Satpol PP action received strong resistance from the parents of students. This was done before finally tapping the hammer if the relocation of SDN Pondok Cina 1 was postponed.

The inflammation carried out by the parents of the students was carried out so that the school would remain standing. They rejected the execution of the emptying. The plan is for the school building to be converted into a large mosque.

"We came here according to orders from the Mayor of Depok to empty the assets of SDN Pondokina 1," said Head of Depok City Satpol PP, Lienda Ratnanurdiannny, Sunday, December 11.

The execution of the emptying was carried out by the Satpol PP carrying two trucks and six small vehicles.

Lienda said the execution was a follow-up to the Depok Mayor's letter dated June 9, 2022, which stated that the assets of SDN Pondokina 1 must be vacated.
