The Central Java Regional Police's Food Task Force ensures that the availability of basic necessities during the Christmas and New Year 2023 holidays for the next three months is safe. "In general, the supply of basic necessities is sufficient for the next three months," said Deputy Head of the Central Java Police Food Task Force AKBP Rosyid Hartanto in Semarang, Antara, Thursday, December 15. Developments regarding the condition of availability and the level of food prices, he said, will be monitored every day. Therefore, he appealed to the public to remain calm and not panic about the availability of basic necessities. He said efforts to anticipate hoarding of basic necessities had been made. "We are distributing members to distributors to carry out surveillance," he said. In addition, he said, distribution routes were prepared to anticipate the scarcity of basic necessities in one region. Efforts to prevent crimes that have the potential to trigger public unrest about meeting food needs, such as the spread of fake news, have been prepared.
