"At around 23.00 WIB we saw a fire from the room, we immediately extinguished it manually until finally the firefighters arrived, it's a shame the victim couldn't be saved," he said.

As a result of this disaster, other material losses are estimated at IDR 200 million.

Firefighters assisted by residents managed to extinguish the fire an hour later.
