JAKARTA - A gang of 4-5 thieves managed to break into the official residence of the mayor of Blitar. Even the owner of the house, Santoso and his wife had experienced confinement.

Is it a big question, is that so far the security of official houses at the level of mayor officials?

Five perpetrators were identified wearing green, compact hair and Indonesian. One of the witnesses saw one of the perpetrators wearing a cream-colored jacket with the Indonesian flag symbol.

Before entering the official residence, the perpetrators managed to paralyze three Satpol PP who were on guard.

After that, they entered and arrested Santoso and his wife in the house. The perpetrator even threatened and asked to show the location of the storage of valuables.

In the action, the perpetrator also destroyed CCTV installed in the official residence. The perpetrator took away money and jewelry belonging to the wife of the Mayor of Blitar with a total value of around Rp. 400 million.

The Head of Public Relations of the East Java Police, Kombes Dirmanto, said the perpetrators used a red plate black Innova. There are allegations that the number plates used were fake.

Referring to the police statement, it means that a total of only five people were at the official residence of the Mayor of Blitar Santoso at that time. Three Satpol PP people were successfully paralyzed and Santoso and his wife were arrested.

Is there no one else in the official residence? What about the aide? Are there no workers who take care of the daily needs of the mayor every day?

Currently, a joint team consisting of the Blitar City Police Satreskrim and backed up from the Jatanras Ditreskrimum of the East Java Police is continuing to carry out investigations.
