Revoke Manual Tickets, NTB Police Only Target TNKB Counterfeiting And Illegal Racing

MATARAM - The West Nusa Tenggara Regional Police through the ranks of the Traffic Directorate will re-impose evidence of violations or tickets manually on the highway. Director of Traffic of the NTB Police, Kombes Djoni Widodo, explained that this manual ticket will apply to taking action against certain violations that cannot be overcome by electronic ticketing. "Such as falsification of TNKB (motorized vehicle number sign) or vehicle plate and illegal racing. We will act on those two things manually," said Djoni when contacted in Mataram, Antara, Monday, December 12. Technical action for violations of TNKB forgery, he explained, traffic unit officers or traffic units will detect from inspection activities on traffic violations in plain view. "For example, on the road these riders do not wear helmets or three rides, they will be checked. If the license plate does not match the documents, it can be punished ( manual ticket)," he said. For the realization of the plan to apply manual ticketing, Djoni said that his party would wait for the results of the meeting with all the heads of district/city traffic police in NTB. "Before it is re-imposed, we will close it first, we will gather all the heads of the traffic police in NTB, we will evaluate and determine when it will take effect. What is clear, we will apply this ( manual ticket) throughout the NTB area," he said.
