Update On COVID-19 As Of December 10: New Case 2,191, Sembuh 3,507

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) releases the latest additional positive cases of COVID-19 today.

A total of 43,450 specimens were examined with the results of 2,191 new positive cases of COVID-19.

"The total accumulation of positive cases since COVID-19 was discovered in Indonesia has reached 6,697,201 people and active cases have decreased by 1,339 to 41,977 cases," said Ministry of Health data, Saturday, December 10.

Today's recovered cases increased by 3,507 cases, bringing the total to 6,495,026 recovered people. Then, positive confirmation who died 23 and a total of 160,198 people.

The province with the highest new cases was in DKI Jakarta with 755 cases, bringing the total to 1,528,946 cases.

Followed by West Java with 536 new cases bringing the total to 1,226,622 East Java with 198 new cases with a total of 634,518. Then, Banten with 194 new cases so that a total of 362,950 cases.

The province with the most recovered cases today belongs to DKI Jakarta with an additional 1,559 recovered cases.

Followed by Banten with an additional 588 recovered cases, West Java with an additional 490 recovered cases, East Java with an additional 236 recovered cases.

In addition, the number of specimens that had been examined using RT-PCR, TCM, and antigen reached 113,052,948.

"Positive results per number of people examined or this week's positivity rate of 9.79 percent", he wrote.

The number of people suspected of contracting COVID-19 or currently categorized as suspected cases is 3,691 people.

Currently, 34 provinces have had cases of COVID-19.

To date, 203,827,128 people have received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination and 174,439,167 people have received the second dose of vaccination.

While the third dose of vaccination was 67,506,011 and the fourth dose of vaccination was 1,016,903.

Meanwhile, the target for vaccination in Indonesia is 234,666,020 people.
