Member of the House of Representatives from the PKS faction, Iskan Qolba Lubis, apologized for his actions that walked out during a plenary meeting to ratify the Draft Criminal Code (RKUHP) on Tuesday, December 6. This apology is the aftermath of his strong protest when delivering an interruption in the plenary ratification of the Criminal Code. For his actions, Iskan was then reported to the Honorary Court of the Council (MKD). "Iskan Qolba Lubis, a member of the DPR RI, as you know, I interrupted the plenary session and indeed the atmosphere was not wide at that time," said Iskan in the MKD room of the DPR RI, parliament complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Friday, December 9th. Iskan also apologized to other DPR members for his inappropriate communication in the last plenary meeting. In fact, the member of Commission VIII of the DPR had mentioned the leadership of the DPR, Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, a dictator. "As a member of the Council, I ask permission to apologize to the plenary session if there are things, attitudes, ways of communicating that may be inappropriate for Honorary Council members and at the highest session in the DPR," said Iskan. Previously, Muhammad Azhari as a civil society reported Iskan Qolba Lubis to the DPR MKD regarding Iskan's walk out attitude at the plenary meeting on Tuesday, December 6. In the receipt of the complaint, Azhari suspected that Iskan's attitude could worsen the image of the DPR because it was deemed to have violated the code of ethics as stipulated in Article 2 paragraph 4 concerning the DPR RI Code of Ethics. He considered that Iskan's attitude was inconsistent, considering that the PKS faction was said to have agreed with the notes on the RKUHP. It is known that members of the PKS faction Iskan Qolba Lubis had walked out of the plenary meeting after a heated debate with Deputy Speaker of the DPR Sufmi Dasco Ahmad as chairman of the trial. Initially, Iskan gave an interruption to convey two notes to the Criminal Code Bill. However, Dasco immediately cut the interruption because Iskan requested that the article on insults to the president and institutions be removed.
