JABAR - Polri conducted absorption or fogging at refugee posts spread across hundreds of points in Cianjur, West Java. This step is an effort to anticipate the spread of dengue fever (DHF) because there are still many puddles of water found in refugee camps.

Head of Public Relations of the Cianjur Police, Ipda Nanang Sunarya, said that the National Police had made various efforts to overcome the impact after the disaster, including urging refugees to be diligent in cleaning the environment, preparing public kitchens, and other necessities such as sleeping equipment.

"The National Police continues to try to do what the community needs, in particular preventing attacks of dengue fever with efforts to fogging because at the post points there are many puddles of water that can become a breeding ground for the Aides Anegepty mosquito," he said in Cianjur, West Java, Thursday, December 8, quoted from Antara.

For fogging, said Nanang, it has been carried out in most refugee posts in the villages of Nagrak, Cibulakan, Benjod, and Gasol, either the centralized post or the independent post, where there are many puddles of water.

During the earthquake emergency response, the Cianjur Police have distributed various aids coming from the National Police Headquarters, Polda and Polres in Indonesia to ease the burden on more than 100 thousand residents who are forced to fill the evacuation posts.

Even to distribute aid to the last area where vehicles cannot be passed, said Nanang, his party also dispatched dozens of motorized police to deliver the logistics needed by residents and help residents clean their house materials by lowering heavy equipment.
