The Candidacy At KIB Is Considered To Affect The Petas Of National Politics

Political observer from Diponegoro University, Teguh Yuwono, said that until now the United Indonesia Coalition (KIB) does not yet have a strong candidate from within. However, the figure to be selected by KIB will still affect the map of the constellation Capres-Cawapres 2024.

According to him, the dynamics in the body of the coalition consisting of Golkar, PAN and PPP will ultimately affect the national political map. "So that the figures who are carried by KIB are very decisive in the political process, why are there at length lobbying, "said Teguh, Wednesday, December 7, evening.

Teguh said that the three KIB political parties were still solid, even together they stated that there would be parties in parliament that would join. In theory, he said, the bigger the political parties, the greater the challenges and political bargaining. "So it is impossible for a political party to join without any interest, because this interest will then emerge, join in a joint political initiation process, or a joint political target process," he said.

If the KIB coalition grows, Teguh continued, of course there will be many political bargainings that are being played by Golkar Party chairman Airlangga Hartarto, PAN chairman Zulkifli Hasan and Plt Ketum PPP Mardiono. However, another thing that cannot be denied is the existence of a figure who is considered strong to be carried by KIB.

"Of course the main question is about two figures and the support of political parties and the community is calculated from where, how much a person has the potential to win elections, what numbers, processes like, that is the basis for the coalition, the calculation is losing or winning," said Teguh.

Previously, PAN chairman Zulkifli Hasan or Zulhas said, KIB opened the door for the party to join. Zulhas also invited PKS and Gerindra to join KIB.

"Adding is allowed, so for example PKS wants to enter, Gerindra wants to join," he said at the PAN DPP, Tuesday, December 6, evening.

Regarding the presidential candidate, Zulhas said, it would be discussed with political parties in KIB and the additional parties. "Whatever later, do you add, join, what will the presidential candidate be, who will be, we will negotiate with KIB, yes. So, everything we will discuss later," said Zulhas.
