KKB Former Drivers Of Motorcycle Taxis In The Papuan Star Mountains, 2 Victims' Bodies Still At The Crime Scene

PAPUA - The Papuan Armed Criminal Group (KKB) is back in action. The KKB killed two motorcycle taxi drivers who were hanging out at the Digoel River base, Oksem District, Bintang Mountains Regency, Papua Mountains Province. "The murder that occurred Monday (December 5) was reported to be one of the motorcycle taxi drivers," said the Head of the Bintang Mountains Police, AKBP Cahyo Sukarnito, Tuesday, December 6, confiscated by Antara.

He explained, based on witness testimony, the incident occurred 20 meters from the Kali Digoel motorcycle taxi base, Oksebang District.

The victim on Monday, December 6 at 14.00 WIT accidentally met KKB carrying two long-barreled weapons when he was about to go to the Kali Okse motorcycle taxi base. The victim who was riding a motorcycle immediately turned around.

"Not long after, three shots were heard, until the witness went straight to Oksibil to report the incident to the Resort Police," said the Police Chief.

He said the two motorcycle taxi drivers who were victims of the KKB attack were La Aman and La Usu. The bodies of the two civilians are still at the scene or crime scene.

From the KKB attack, a number of residents and motorcycle taxi drivers who were around the crime scene managed to secure themselves. However, one motorcycle taxi driver is still unknown.

The police chief said the bodies of the two motorcycle taxi drivers would be evacuated by the Bintang Mountains Police today, Tuesday, December 6.

"Hopefully the evacuation of the bodies of the victims will run safely and smoothly because the members at the same time conducted a crime scene," said the Police Chief.
