JAKARTA - A teacher at SMP Negeri 250 Jakarta, Sukirno, apologized to the Fifth President of the Republic of Indonesia, Megawati Soekarnoputri. This apology is related to the preparation of school exam questions that include the narrative "Anies was ridiculed by Mega".

He conveyed this apology in a written statement accompanied by a signature and a stamp that was handed over to the Chairman of the DKI DPRD. Sukirno also came to the DPRD building to convey his apology.

This is a follow-up to his summons from the DKI DPRD to ask for clarification regarding the preparation of the exam questions.

"From the bottom of my heart, I apologize profusely to Mrs. Megawati Soekarnoputri, the 5th President of the Republic of Indonesia and Mr. Anies Rasyid Baswedan as the Governor of DKI Jakarta for my negligence and mistake I entered names resembling figures in the matter of PAS PAI, "said Sukirno at the DKI DPRD building, Wednesday, December 16.

Sukirno stated that he regretted his actions as careless and did not think long when he compiled the Odd PAS (Final Semester Assessment) questions for the seventh grade Islamic Religion subject.

"Once again I am very sorry and promise not to repeat my actions again. God willing, in the future I will be more careful and will improve and learn more," he said.

It is known that there were two exam questions with multiple choice answers written by Sukirno. In one of the questions mentioned, "Mega who often taunts Anies always wears dull shoes. Meanwhile, Anies is a patient, forgiving, and not grumpy person".

Another problem is that it reads "Mr. Anies is a governor as a result of the 2017 Governor Election. He does not abuse his position to enrich himself and his family. Instead, he uses his position to help people in distress. Mr. Anies' behavior is an example of attitude ..." .

The problems of this matter reached the ears of the DKI DPRD. Yesterday, the DPRD summoned Sukirno, who was accompanied by the Head of the DKI Education Agency, Nahdiana, to clarify the reasons for profiting the "Mega ridicule Anies" question.

Although he did not include Mega's attribution, DKI DPRD Chairman Prasetio Edi Marsudi considered the name to be a context to the PDIP General Chairperson as well as the Fifth RI President, Megawati Soekarnoputri. Then, Anies is the Governor of DKI Anies Baswedan, where the two of them have opposing political attitudes.
