JAKARTA - The Pamekasan Health Service, East Java, acknowledged that 19 people were positive for HIV which caused damage to the immune system or Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS).

"The data on the number of residents who are positive for HIV/AIDS is in accordance with reports from each health care unit spread across 13 sub-districts in Pamekasan as of November 2022," said Head of the Disease Prevention and Control Division of the Pamekasan Health Office Hidayat in Pamekasan, East Java, Thursday, December 1, as reported by Antara.
