The Head of Traffic at the South Jakarta Metro Police, Kompol Joko Sutriono, explained the chronology of the Pajero car accident driven by Purnawirawan Polri AKBP, causing the death of a student at the University of Indonesia (UI) in the South Jakarta area.

Joko said, based on information compiled by its members, it was known that the victim, Muhammad Hasya Atallah, was riding a motor motorbike with his colleagues.

"Yes, it's true (the accompaniment) with his friend. Someone followed him behind him (the victim). The witness knows the truth. The version of the witness at the crime scene (TKP) seemed to suddenly swerve away from the water", said Kompol Joko when confirmed by VOI, Friday, November 25.

One of the witnesses named Afila, said Joko, was said to have seen Atallah's seconds fall.

"If the friend is behind, the Afila, while the brakes avoid puddles while there is a motorbike to the right. That's why he braked suddenly. He shook, along with his body he hit the car right through Pajero. " he said.

Furthermore, Joko revealed that until now the victims and perpetrators are still being mediated.

"The problem is mediation, the driver of Pajero and his family have continued mediation. But why is the narrative not a continuation of legal issues. He knows, how come there is no law enforcement. There is no mediation yet," he concluded.

A University of Indonesia (UI) student named Muhammad Hasya Atallah died after being involved in an accident in the South Jakarta area. Allegedly, the driver of the Pajero car is a retired police officer.

Joko also said that until now, Friday, November 25, the victims and perpetrators are still in the mediation process. However, Joko continued, if there is no common ground, the Polda Metro Jaya will hold a case on Monday, November 28.
