Minibus Xenia Seruduk Tronton Trucks Containing 35 Ton Batu On The Cipularang Toll Road, 1 People Died

PURWAKARTA - A traffic accident that occurred on Thursday morning on the Cipularang KM 86 Toll Road, around the Jatiluhur area, Purwakarta Regency, West Java Province, resulted in the death of one person. "As a result of this accident, one passenger died and two people were injured, for the driver survived," said Head of Unit 3 of the Cipularang Toll Road Patrol Ipda Dadang Setiawan as quoted by Antara, Thursday, November 24 evening. The passenger who died in the accident was Yudha Indrapraja (48), a resident of Cipageran, North Cimahi, Cimahi City. The victim's body has been evacuated to the Abdul Radjak Purwakarta Hospital. Dadang explained that the traffic accident in the Cipularang KM 86 Toll Road area involved a Xenia minibus with plate number B 1484 EZJ and a tronton truck with plate number D 9573 VD which drove from Bandung to Jakarta. "The two vehicles arrived from Bandung to Jakarta, upon arrival at the TKP, precisely in lane one, according to the confession that the driver of the first vehicle (Xenia) did not keep his distance and anticipate, resulting in a collision," he said. As a result of the accident, some of the minibuses got under the truck and were dragged several meters before the truck driver stopped the vehicle on the shoulder of the road. The truck driver, Sulaeman, said that the vehicle he was driving did not go beyond the speed limit. "It's impossible for me to bring a fast car, I brought a standard car, because I brought a stone weighing 35 tons," said Sulaeman. Meanwhile, a minibus driver named Deden Sholahuddin said that he was not sleepy when driving the car used to transport passengers from Cimahi to the airport. "The position of the steering wheel is like there is a wind to the left, in front of the tronton truck there is a slow road, there was no time to brake, so it had a collision," he said. The vehicle involved in a traffic accident on the Cipularang KM 86 Toll Road has been taken to the pul at the Jatiluhur Toll Gate. The Traffic Unit of the Purwakarta Resort Police handled the traffic accident case.
