PDIP Legislator Predictions Concerning 5 Questions To Candidates For TNI Commanders During The Fit And Proper Test

Member of Commission I DPR RI from the PDIP faction, Tubagus Hasanuddin, assessed that the Presidential Letter (Surpres) regarding the replacement of the TNI Commander must be sent to the DPR immediately. This is because the DPR must carry out a fit and proper test for the candidate for the TNI Commander in Chief before the recess period on December 16. "Our prediction before the recess or before December 15, 2022, there must be a schedule for the feasibility test for the new TNI Commander candidate," Hasanuddin told reporters, Thursday, November 24. The PDIP politician then revealed an overview of the implementation of the TNI Commander's feasibility test which will be carried out later. According to him, there are 5 question points for the candidate for the TNI Commander. He predicts that the DPD Commission I questions will range from five problems. First, Hasanuddin said, about how the TNI Commander's efforts to maintain and improve the discipline of TNI soldiers. According to existing data, the TNI's discipline has recently decreased slightly. "Second, how is the efforts of the TNI Commander in an effort to complete the third Strategic Plan for the MEF," said Hasanuddin. Third, regarding how the TNI Commander's efforts to improve the professionalism of TNI soldiers through training and education, especially in the context of facing actual threats. Fourth, how is the efforts of the TNI Commander in order to improve the welfare of soldiers. "Then, what is the attitude of the TNI Commander so that TNI soldiers remain neutral and political in accordance with the laws and regulations considering political parties such as the presidential, legislative and regional elections are getting closer," said the retired TNI.
