The joint SAR team continued its search for 151 people who were reported missing after a magnitude earthquake of 5.6 on Monday, November 21 in Cianjur Regency, West Java.

According to the Head of the Bandung Jumaril Search and Rescue Office, as many as 796 personnel were deployed to 12 sub-districts affected by the earthquake in Cianjur to look for residents who were reported missing, record aid needs, and distribute aid.

The search efforts will be carried out by two teams, namely the SAR Potential Team and the National Search and Rescue Agency or Basarnas Team.

"The evacuation plan, if the victim is found, will be taken to Cianjur Hospital using an ambulance," he said.

He said that SAR officers would also send aid items to refugees using helicopters.

"In addition to the search plan, today's special agenda is the logistics dropping plan for refugees in Talaga Village, Cugenang District, using the BO-105 Basarnas helicopter," he said.

Jumaril said that until now the earthquake that occurred in Cianjur had caused 268 deaths. A total of 122 bodies of earthquake victims have been identified. There are still 151 people whose bodies have not been found.
