Takziah Di Pati, Ganjar Kenang Sosok Mendiang Nyai Sahal Mahfudz

JATENG - Mustasyar Nahdlatul Ulama (PBNU) Executive Board Nyai Hj Nafisah Sahal Mahfudz passed away on Thursday 10 November. Central Java (Central Java) Governor Ganjar Pranowo remembers the deceased as a great woman.

"She is a very great female character. Who doesn't know the big family of Kiai Sahal Mahfudz," said Ganjar after a pilgrimage at the Maslakul Huda Islamic Boarding School, Pati Regency, Central Java (Central Java), quoted from Antara, Friday 11 November.

In addition, the former member of the DPR also mentioned the late figure who was charismatic.

From his conversation with the deceased's son, Abdur Ghaffar Rozin or Gus Rozin, Ganjar knew that Nyai Nafisah had a strong physique.

"Because several times she had a stroke, she was still strong and one time she had a stroke, after taking treatment for a while and then leaving for Umrah, she was still strong," he said.

Meanwhile, from a religious point of view, Ganjar said that the wife of the late KH Sahal Mahfudz was a great figure, so that the deceased became a role model for many people.

"As a female character, it's great to be a role model for many people, so today he gave up, there must be many who feel lost," he said again.

Nyai Hj Nafisah Sahal Mahfudz died at the Pati Hospital, after previously undergoing treatment at the Telogorejo Hospital, Semarang.

Nyai Nafisah Sahal is known as a figure who has colored various fields, from education, organization to politics.

Nyai Nafisah Sahal was born to married couple KH Abdul Fattah Hasyim and Nyai Hj Musyarofah on February 8, 1946 in Jombang, East Java.

His mother was the founder of the Al-Fathimiyyah Women's Islamic Boarding School, Bahrul Ulum, Tambakberas, while her father was the founder of Madrasah Mu'allimin Mu'allimat Bahrul Ulum, Tambakberas, Jombang.
