MATARAM - Polda NTB supports the smooth activities of the G20 Summit which will take place in Bali from 15 to 16 November 2022 by increasing security mobility in the port area. The Head of Public Relations of the NTB Police, Kombes Artanto, revealed that there are four ports in the Lombok Island area that are the focus of security. "One of them is at Bangsal Port, North Lombok Regency. Monitoring the activities of residents in the port area is one of the security tasks," said Artanto in Mataram, Antara, Friday, November 13. He said the NTB Police Chief Inspector General Djoko Poerwanto had given the mandate to the Director of Polairud Polda NTB Kombes Kobul Syahrin Ritonga and his staff to carry out the security. "According to the mandate of the leadership, the NTB Police Dirpolairud together with its members have received a special task to support the smooth running of the G20 Summit in Bali by increasing security in the port area," he said. With this mandate, he said, the NTB Police Dirpolairud has routinely come down directly to check security in the port area. To the personnel on duty, he continued, the NTB Police Chief advised to stay healthy and always be vigilant. "According to our leadership's message, carry out the task as best as possible and intend this task as a field of worship," he said.
