PURBALINGGA - The Purbalingga Police Criminal Investigation Unit managed to uncover a case of motor vehicle theft (Curanmor). Four perpetrators who are part of a gang were arrested along with the evidence. They are perpetrators and also collectors of stolen goods.

"Of the four suspects who were arrested, they have their respective roles, including OS as the executor, AM and JS overseeing the situation, and DS as a collector of stolen motorbikes," explained the Deputy Chief of Police accompanied by Head of Criminal Investigation Unit AKP Edi Sukamto Nyoto and Head of Public Relations Iptu Edi Ratio, in a written statement.

The disclosure of the case began when there was a report of a motorcycle theft in front of the El Mina Bakery, Selanegara Village, Kaligondang District, Purbalingga Regency, Wednesday, November 26. The victim, Puji Nurhayati (44), a resident of Selanegara Village, lost a black Honda Vario motorcycle with the police number R-5066-AV.

"Based on the report of the theft incident, the Purbalingga Police Criminal Investigation Unit Resmob Unit conducted an investigation. Until the perpetrators were arrested and the evidence on Friday, October 28," said the Deputy Chief of Police.

The perpetrators are subject to Article 363 paragraph 1 to (4) of the Criminal Code concerning theft with Weighted. The penalty is a maximum imprisonment of seven years.
