Police Call The Perpetrator Of Motor Theft In Cilandak Use A Toy Firearm

JAKARTA - The head of the Cilandak Police, Kompol Multazam, revealed a case of theft accompanied by firearms that occurred on Jalan Asem II, Cipete, Cilandak, South Jakarta a few days ago. He explained that the perpetrator used a toy firearm.

Multazam revealed this based on the examination of members at the location and the discovery of projectiles and casings.

"The initial allegation was a toy gun. (The victim) was not injured at all," said Multazam when confirmed, Monday, November 7.

Multazam said that until now his party was still investigating the case. A number of CCTVs have been secured for investigation.

"Still trying to investigate jointly with the Resort Police. CCTV is done, this is part of the investigation, the team is still working," he concluded.

Previously, it was reported that a video went viral on social media showing the theft in the Cipete area, Cilandak, South Jakarta. This action was caught on surveillance cameras or CCTV.

In the video uploaded to the Instagram account @InfoCipete. There are three perpetrators suspected of being thieves. They intend to steal a motorcycle, but the action is caught by the residents.

Cilandak Police Chief, Police Commissioner Multazam Lisendra said the incident occurred on Thursday, November 3, at 17.30 WIB. Currently, his party is investigating the case.
