JAKARTA - From the results of the examination by Matraman Police investigators against the perpetrators of beating cats to death, it is known that the perpetrators were annoyed because every day at home they often smelled an unpleasant odor by a group of wild animals.

"As a result of the initial interrogation, the perpetrator was upset because in front of his rented house there were often traces of vomiting, cat droppings and leftover food (cat)," said Matraman Police Chief Kompol Tribuana Roseno when contacted by VOI, Monday, November 7. On that basis, the perpetrator felt annoyed until the heinous act occurred.

"So he was annoyed, coincidentally when he was near there it was like a paving block, then he was thrown into the cat," he said.

Currently, the perpetrator has surrendered to the Matraman Police.

"He has come to surrender. The point is to apologize and is ready to be processed according to the applicable law. The perpetrator is threatened with Article 302 paragraph 2 of the Criminal Code," he said.

Previously, it was reported that a cat was abused using a large lump of rock by residents to death.

The action was carried out by irresponsible people at Jalan Kayumanis 3, Matraman District, East Jakarta, East Jakarta, Sunday, November 6.

The heinous act was also recorded by amateur cameras by other residents and went viral on social media. From the video footage, a cat can be seen lying dead and covered in blood.
