Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo again found a child mastermind while attending the commemoration of World Supervisory Day VIII at the Surakarta ISI Ageng Hall. The small mastermind is named Sindu.

The moment occurred when Ganjar gave a speech and opened a series of warnings about HWD VIII. Previously, Ganjar told about the child mastermind he met in Boyolali, Friday night, November 4.

He also challenged the elementary school students who were present at the Surakarta ISI Ageng Pendopo, to show their skills. Then the boy whose full name is Danendra Kidung Sindhutama went straight to where Ganjar was standing.

"Sindu, why do you like wayang, have you watched wayang last night all night?" said Ganjar.

"Like it, it's just interesting. I've watched it everywhere, it's been a lot," said Sindu.

That's when Ganjar challenged Sindu to his talent show to be the mastermind. Without hesitation, Sindu won the wayang which was brought by one of the dancers who accompanied Ganjar.

Sindu seemed good at playing two wayangs in his hands. The atmosphere became tense because of Sindu's durability in front of Ganjar. Even so, the former member of the Indonesian House of Representatives still persuaded Sindu to give a little nDalang.

"You turned out to be great, you know, who taught you who? At home you have a wayang?," asked Ganjar.

"Learn yourself, sir, yes, at home you have a wayang," said Sindu, who was then rewarded by Ganjar with a smartphone.

Ganjar said, Sindu is a little example of the need for facilitation or space for children in art. Moreover, Sindu has never received formal and self-taught art education.

"Full awareness, this is talent. Now our job is indeed to facilitate because it may be minimal," said Ganjar.

The existence of a university that specifically likes Surakarta's ISI, according to Ganjar, is able to make a more real contribution to be involved.

"Yes, with a lighter and more open style to children. Hopefully this is part of our efforts to make wayang better, develop and be worldwide," said Ganjar.

Ganjar also had time to sing and bring the Panji play to mark the start of a series of warnings that will last until November 6. At the 2022 HWD commemoration, the theme taken was Mawayang Hayu; Wayang Moderation and Diversity.
