Defense Minister Prabowo Asks World Leaders To Dispose Peaceful Resolution

JAKARTA - Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto asked world leaders, especially from countries of great magnitude, to present a rational and peaceful resolution to deal with the world's current dynamical situation filled with uncertainty.

"We hope that the wise leaders of the world's leading powers will come out with rational and peaceful resolutions," Prabowo said while giving a speech at the VIP Aircraft Tour Indo Defense Expo and Forum 2022, at Halim Perdanakusuma Air Base, Jakarta, Friday 4 November.

Through this resolution, he continued, dynamic world conditions filled with uncertainty can be overcome so as to create peace and prosperity.

Prabowo added that peace and prosperity in this world is the only way out to bring security and safety to all mankind.

On the same occasion, Prabowo also highlighted the importance of good communication and interaction as the only way to stop misunderstandings and competition between countries which has caused the current world situation to become volatile.

According to him, all forms of misunderstanding and competition between countries should be stopped because the world is currently getting narrower so that every event that occurs in a country will have a global impact and contribute to the stability, security, and safety of other countries.

Furthermore, Prabowo gave an example of one of the efforts to provide good communication and interaction between countries to be carried out through holding meetings or international forums, such as the Indo Defense Expo and Forum.

"In my opinion, events like this are not only for the defense industry, but there is a possibility this forum is to interact, make contact, and communicate. Here we see many leaders from countries with stable defenses. Here, we can have good conversations," Prabowo said as quoted by Antara.

As for the VIP Aircraft Tour Indo Defense Expo and Forum 2022, at Halim Perdanakusuma Air Base, invited guests who attended were treated to the appearance of a maneuvered aircraft from the Air Force Jupiter Aerobatic Team or familiarly called The Jupiters, the Dassault Rafale fighter jet, and the Black Hawk helicopter.

According to appearances from the Jupiters, by riding six South Korean-made KT-1 Wong Bee aircraft, they feature several high-tight air maneuvers.

One of them is "Heart" air maneuvers. In these maneuvers The Jupiters paint the sky with a heart shape. This form symbolizes the love sign of the Jupiters on Indonesia.
