JAKARTA - National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo appreciates Muhammadiyah for establishing a hospital with adequate facilities. This helps the government in efforts to improve the health level of the community. " “Oleh, therefore of course we give a very extraordinary appreciation to Muhammadiyah who continues to be concerned, continues to focus on improving the health level of the community," said Sigit in a written statement received in Jakarta, Antara, Thursday, November 3. This appreciation was conveyed by the National Police Chief while attending the inauguration of the Muhammadiyah Hospital in South Bandung this afternoon. According to the four-star general, one indicator of developed countries in addition to guaranteed safety levels, low unemployment rates, and advanced science and technology, is adequate health facilities. The provision of adequate health facilities is an effort in order to realize superior human resources (HR) towards the vision of a Golden Indonesia in 2045. “Alhamdulillah Muhammadiyah is guarding and is contributing to continue to encourage Indonesia to become a developed country in 2045, ” he said. Sigit is of the opinion that the construction of adequate health facilities can answer President Joko Widodo's directives regarding the large number of Indonesian citizens seeking treatment abroad, such as to Singapore, the United States, Japan and other countries. “ There is a capital outflow that shifts abroad and after being calculated per year the amount is approximately Rp 110 trillion. So our hope is that regarding international health facilities and in the future we pray that Muhammadiyah can build an international hospital,” said Sigit hoped. Furthermore, the former Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police explained the role of the former health facility when viewed from a state point of view, that healthy citizens are the largest assets owned by each country, as stated by former British Prime Minister Wiston Churchill. Meanwhile, according to Indonesian experts, there are still at least 1,000 hospitals. With this adequate health facility, Sigit hopes that the life rate of the Indonesian nation will increase every year. " “ In 2017 Indonesia is at 72.9, in 2021 at 73.5, meaning this is the hope of the community to survive if the health facilities are adequate and this is certainly our hope to be able to create things like that," said Sigit. In addition, the former Head of the Propam Police Division also appreciated Muhammadiyah's contribution in assisting the handling of the COVID-19 pandemic, thus placing Indonesia as the fifth country in the world capable of providing vaccines to 441 million people. So he said, people's life activities began to return to normal and the economic growth rate grew at five percent. Not only that, Sigit also appreciated Muhammadiyah's efforts under the General Chairperson Haedar Nasir who continued to maintain and oversee matters of religious moderation. This is because the National Police Chief emphasized that Indonesia, which has ethnicity, religion and various customs, must still be cared for because it is the capital and strength of the Indonesian nation.
