The West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Regional Police ensured that the 2022 World Superbike (WSBK) event would implement the PeduliLindung application on each entrance to the event which took place at the Mandalika Circuit, Central Lombok.

Head of the Operations Bureau of the NTB Police, Kombes Pol Abu Bakar Tertusi, said the implementation of the PeduliLindung barcode scan was to prevent the spread of COVID-19 at the 2022 WSBK event.

"The check on COVID-19 at WSBK still exists, the MGPA (Mandalika Grand Prix Association) ensures that at every gate (entry gate) there will be checks through the PeduliLindung application," he said in Mataram, NTB, quoted from Antara, Wednesday, November 2.

In addition, at each gate there will also be inspection of the luggage of the audience, both in the form of sharp weapons and drugs.

The organizing committee also participates in supervising the matters of items that are not allowed to be included in the circuit, such as bottles of drinks and umbrellas.

"So, the supervision at the entrance is still the same as the previous implementation," he said.

He said the MGPA as the implementing committee is now preparing three gates for audience entry to the Mandalika Circuit.

MGPA has also changed the names of the three gates. The red gate one in the front area of the Mandalika Circuit is called "Pertamina".

Gate two is blue in the back area of the circuit adjacent to the coast, he continued, called "First".

"Untuk gate tiga warna hijau yang dekat dengan Hotel Pullman, namanya sekarang 'Enduro'," tuturnya.

Regarding the audience's access to enter the Mandalika Circuit area through the three gates, according to him, it has been arranged differently.

"So, access to gate one, two, and three has been divided. For those who enter gate one and two, it must go through the bypass route. If gate three is the old route, through the Mong Roundabout, Nurul Bilad Mosque," he explained.

For spectators who go to gate one and two through the bypass route, he said, they will be divided again upon arrival at the Sunggu Roundabout.

"For gate two, that's the path that you can all watch the music festival. The coastal area. For gate one, keep the front line," he said.

Abu Bakar explained that his party's goal is for the organizing committee to create a vehicle lane with such a concept to prevent congestion.

This extreme international standard racing event will take place at the Mandalika Circuit from 11 to 13 November 2022.

The current condition of preparation is reported that all logistics for racing needs have arrived at the Mandalika Circuit.
