BENGKULU - The Bengkulu Provincial Government (Pemprov) has opened a motorized vehicle free day activity or car free day or CFD for the first time in the Panjang Beach Nature Tourism Park (TWA) area, Bengkulu City.

The CFD was held from Pasir Putih Beach to the Pantai Berkas area. It is carried out every two weeks which can be followed by the general public for sports or culinary.

"This is our first title for the utilization of the Bengkulu Panjang TWA, after the ministry has been determined under the provincial government. We will periodically do it every two weeks that we will focus on Bengkulu Panjang Beach," said Bengkulu Governor Rohidin Mersyah, quoted from Antara, Sunday, October 23.

He said, with the CFD in the Panjang Beach area, people can enjoy the air in the beach morning without being disturbed by vehicle activity. In addition, various kinds of processed foods from Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) of the Bengkulu Province community are also provided in the CFD location.

In this CFD location, the public can also carry out health checks such as cholesterol, blood sugar and gout and COVID-19 vaccination service stands.

Rohidin added that the Bengkulu Provincial Government has also arranged building permits in the Panjang Beach area which will be adjusted to HPL from the Ministry related to HGB and several other types of licensing.
