Kominex Immediately Pull The BPOM-forbidden Thermorex Sirup, Production Will Also Be Stopped

PT Konimex is preparing steps to stop production, distribution and recall of 60ml Termorex Sirup product batch number AUG22A06 according to a circular letter from BPOM.

However, through Chief Executive Officer Rachmadi Joesoef, PT Konimex ensures that all drugs in the form ofrah they produce do not use the raw materials of Ethilen Glikol (EG) and Dietilen Glikol (DEG).

"PT Konimex always ensures that the raw materials used from supplier partners who have been partnering for decades meet the requirements according to the standard drug book issued by the official government agency (Farmakope)," said Rachmadi, Friday, October 21, quoted from Antara.

Even so, PT Konnimex understands the anticipatory steps taken by the authorities.

Rachmadi ensured that his party always guaranteed the safety and quality of raw materials, the production and distribution process of all lines of products in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (CPOB), including the Termorex product which was first produced 34 years ago.

"PT Konimex also always adheres to all policies and rules set by the authorities, to ensure that all lines of our products are safe for the public to consume," he said.

Rachmadi added that his party is coordinating with BPOM RI and related parties to ensure that all Konimex products in the preparation of displays have gone through the production process according to Good Manufacturing Practices (CPOB) and are safe for consumption as recommended.

Previously, the Indonesian Food and Drug Supervisory Agency (BPOM) announced that five sirop drug products in Indonesia containing Etylene Glikol (EG) contamination exceeded the safe threshold.

Reporting from the official website of BPOM RI, www.pom.go.id in Jakarta, Thursday, one of the products is the Thermorex Sirup ( fever medicine), produced by PT Konnimex with distribution license number DBL7813003537A1, box packaging, plastic bottle @60 ml.
