Qian Haijun Rewarded: 365 Days Of Work Without Healing, Cell Phones Active 24 Hours, 'Light Up' 6,000 Families In China

JAKARTA - The Publication Department of the Chinese Communist Party (CPC) awarded an award to a frontline worker in the field of public service in Zhejiang Province.

Qian Haijun, the worker, was an employee of the state power company. He was awarded the award for his dedication in serving the community.

"He works 365 days a year and his cell phone has been active 24 hours a day since 1999," State Grade Zhejiang Cixi Power Supply Company said in a statement, quoted via Antara, Beijing, Tuesday, October 18.

Every time he finished providing services to people in need, he left a business card.

Even on holidays or major holidays, he still visits the homes of residents who contact him by cell phone to get services.

"I'll come right away," Qian replied every time he received a written message or phone call from residents.

CPC considered Qian to be able to inspire others, so the company he worked for gave him the responsibility to lead a team of young people.

For the last seven years, Qian and the team has travelled more than 200.000 kilometer away in five provinces, including Zhejiang, Jilin, and Sichuan. He has helped to light up 6.000 houses in those five provinces.
