Youth Brawls In Babelan Bekasi, Police Check 5 Persons And Security Sharp Weapons

Bekasi Metropolitan Police Chief arrested five perpetrators of a brawl between youth groups in Gang Sejahtera, Ujung Harapan Village, Bahagia Village, Babelan District, Bekasi Regency, early Sunday morning yesterday. "Currently, officers are investigating five brawlers at the Babelan Police. We have also secured evidence of a number of sharp weapons from the hands of these perpetrators," said Bekasi Metro Police Chief Kombes Gidion Atif Setyawan in Cikarang, Antara, Monday, October 17. Gidion ensured that the legal process would continue with the teenagers who were proven to be involved in the brawl, especially since the brawl caused injuries. "We ensure that legal construction runs, law enforcement against victims resulting in injuries," he said. A few hours after the brawl broke out, the Police Chief immediately went to the scene and ordered the ranks to secure the perpetrators of the brawl. Gidion said there were two teenagers who were victims of the brawl. Both of them suffered stab wounds with sharp weapons and had to receive medical treatment at the Bekasi District Hospital. "There were two people who were injured. Now they are being treated at the Bekasi District Hospital," he said. The brawl in an alley went viral on social media after being caught on surveillance cameras. The CCTV footage shows two groups of youths fighting with sharp weapons of the sickle type.
