The British Royal Family Contributed More Than 1,000 Bear Dolls For The Children's Charity Agency

JAKARTA - The British Royal Family donated more than 1,000 teddy bears and more to the children's charity, with Queen Camilla surrounded by various dolls in images released by the palace.

The teddy bear, which consists oftens and other dolls, has been abandoned by members of the community outside Buckingham Palace and Windsor Castle, following the announcement of Queen Elizabeth II's death last month.

The toys were then collected, to be cleaned professionally and will be delivered to Barnardo's children's services in the coming weeks, Buckingham Palace said, according to The National News Oct. 16.

In a photo to mark the occasion, Camilla was seen smiling broadly while sitting on the low sofa in the Morning Room on the Morning House wearing a sea blue dress with white stitches, gripping a tarnished bear on her lap and surrounded by another doll.

Queen Elizabeth II's platinum jubilee skatet in the summer, featured a Peruviantein bear. This prompted mourners to leave the teddy bear, even some delicious treats among flowers collected outside the royal residence.

In 2016, Queen Elizabeth II handed over Barnardo protection to Camilla, who was then the Duchess of Cornwall.

A tweet from the Royal Family's official account, accompanied by a newly released image, states: "Please take care of this bear."

He added: "The bear has been cleaned to make it look best before arriving at their new home."

"Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II has been the protector of Barnardo for more than 30 years, and we are honored to be able to give home to the dolls left by people in her memory," said Barnardo Chief Executive Lynn Perry.

"We promise to keep these bears very loved and bring joy to the children we support."

Buckingham Palace said the dolls were "well-preserved" at the palace, farning House and at Royal Parks, Hyde Park.

Late last month, Royal Parks charity, with the help of ashire horse and nearly 200 volunteers, began collecting gifts from Green Park and Hyde Park.

The toy bears collected will then join the rest of Long Walk outside Windsor Castle, to be cleaned and donated to Barnardo.
