Including HYT who was desperate to smuggle five packages of narcotics for her boyfriend, SA, who was languishing in the Madiun Youth Prison. "It happened last Thursday, October 6 at around 14.30 WIB", said the Head of the Regional Office of the East Java Ministry of Law and Human Rights, Zaeroji, in a written statement, Tuesday, October 11.

Zaeroji explained that HYT deliberately took advantage of the last seconds of visiting and storing goods. The 27-year-old woman hoped that the officers would be careless.

Meanwhile, the Head of Police, Ardian Nova, explained that the officers were suspicious of HYT's hasty movements. HYT looked nervous when the officers opened the three packages of food wrapped in Styrofoam.

"Officers became increasingly suspicious when they saw the larger size of the fried chicken as if something was stuck in it", he said.

Sure enough, it turned out that in the first package, the officers managed to find crystal powder wrapped in a plastic clip inside the geprek chicken thigh. It's about the size of an adult's thumb.

"The first package is suspected to be methamphetamine-methamphetamine with a gross of 1.5 grams", he said.

The officers then unpacked two other packages of geprek chicken and found two packages of suspected methamphetamine, each with a gross of 1 gram. And two packets each containing two pills of suspected ecstasy.

"So that in total we found packages of suspected methamphetamine with a gross weight of 3.5 grams and 4 ecstasy pills from three packs of geprek chicken", he said.

The officers also secured the residence of Sugihwaras Village, Lamongan. Based on the administrative officer's record, the fried chicken was intended for RA, HYT's nephew who is undergoing training at the Madiun Youth Prison.

However, after being questioned by officers, it turned out that the package was for her boyfriend with the initials SA. The 45-year-old man is also serving a criminal period at the prison located on Yos Sudarso Street, Madiun.

"HYT met SA while visiting RA a month ago, they ended up dating and often met face-to-face when visiting prisons or using the video call services provided by the prison", he said.

Who would have thought, it turned out that the love affair was only used by SA to deceive HYT. The man who was caught in a narcotics abuse case even asked her boyfriend to send a narcotics package to the prison.

"So they had an appointment the last time HYT went to prison. Outside, SA told HYT to meet his friend who gave him the geprek chicken", he said.

Currently, HYT has been handed over to police investigators at the Madiun City Drug Investigation Unit Police, for further examination. Meanwhile, the inmates involved will be given disciplinary punishment. Because the violation is serious.

"Severe disciplinary punishments are certain. We will even transfer them to a super-maximum security prison if necessary", he said.
