SOLO - The Solo City Government immediately arranged the Sriwedari area after the decision of the Supreme Court (MA) related to the land dispute between the local government and the heirs of Wiryodiningrat. "It's just a matter of re-processing, not all of them, waiting for the next process," said Mayor Gibran Rakabuming Raka in Solo, Antara, Monday, October 10. In the Supreme Court's decision numbered 2085 K/Pdt/2022, the Surakarta City Government's request to cancel the execution order was granted. In this decision, it is stated that the execution warrant issued by the Semarang High Court Number 468/PDT/2021/PT SMG was cancelled. The decision also ordered the Surakarta District Court to lift the confiscation of the execution of Sriwedari land. "With this decision, there is a bright spot and it will be held again this afternoon," he said. Gibran mentioned several points that will be arranged, namely continuing the construction of the Sriwedari Solo Park Mosque and updating the Wayang Orang Building. "I often say, Graha Wisata will be leveled later, immediately returned to its origin. That's all, simple. Slowly, what is clear is that yesterday's decision has become a bright spot for all," he said. Meanwhile, Head of the Legal Section of the Surakarta City Government, Yeni Apriliawati, said that the coordination meeting as a follow-up to the Supreme Court's decision had been carried out. "We are currently studying the clear efforts of the decision, what the verdict will be like. To determine the legal steps, we will definitely coordinate with the legal counsel, we also have a legal representative from the prosecutor's office," he said. Regarding an official copy of the decision, he admitted that until now the Surakarta City Government had not received it. "Several times we have not received any requests from the district court, we will try to check again later. Last week, we have not received it, from our attorneys we have not received it," he said. Sriwedari's land dispute covering an area of 99,889 m2 between the Surakarta City Government and Wiryodiningrat's heirs have occurred for the last 50 years. In 2016 there was a fixed legal decision or inkrah against this land and was won by the heirs of Wiryodiningrat. However, the Surakarta City Government again made legal efforts to defend the land on Jalan Slamet Riyadi.
