JAKARTA - The President Director of PT Liga Indonesia Baru (LIB) until members of the police were named suspects in the riot case at the Kanjuruhan Malang Stadium. "An additional investigation is still being carried out by the fingerprinting team," said Dedi. In the Kanjuruhan Tragedy that killed 131 people, six people were named as suspects. They are LIB President Director Ahmad Hadian Lukita, Malang Arema Executive Committee Chair Abdul Haris, and Malang Police Ops Head Kompol Wahyu Setyo Pranoto. Then, Head of Samapta Malang Police AKP Bambang Sidik Achmadi, Brimob Company Commander of the East Java Police AKP Hasdarman, and Securityward Suko Sutrisno. They were named as suspects because they were considered to be responsible for the series of matches until the deadly tragedy occurred. In this case, they are suspected of having multiple articles, namely Article 359 and Article 360 of the Criminal Code related to mistakes that caused death. In addition, the suspects were also subject to Article 103 and Article 52 of the Republic of Indonesia Law Number 11 of 2022 concerning sports.
