The DVI Polri Team Identifies Victims Of Riots At The Malang Stadium

JAKARTA - The DVI team of the National Police immediately moved quickly from the East Java (East Java) Regional Police and local hospitals to speed up the process of identifying victims of the match between Arema FC Vs Persebaya.

"For now, the DVI Dokkes team from the National Police immediately went to Malang to back up the DVI Team of the East Java Police and the local hospital to accelerate the identification of victims," said Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo to reporters, Jakarta, Sunday, October 2.

The DVI team was led directly by Brigadier General Nyoman.

Inspector General Dedi explained that the quick action was carried out by the police to provide medical assistance to supporters who were victims of the incident.

"And focus on providing medical assistance to victims who are currently being treated in several hospitals," he said.

Hundreds of people died as a result of the riots that occurred at the Malang Regency Kanjuruhan Stadium, Saturday night, October 1. As a result of the incident, 127 died, including 2 members of the National Police.
