Imagine Not A Golkar Pepet But Closed, PKS Affirms The Main Priority Of The Coalition With NasDem And Democrats

JAKARTA - PKS straightened out that the news was intensely communicating with the Golkar Party in the midst of the planned coalition with NasDem and Democrats. Spokesperson for PKS, M Kholid, explained that it was his party that was approached by the Golkar Party. He emphasized that currently PKS is still finalizing the coalition plan with NasDem and Democrats.

"I want to clarify, it's as if PKS is approaching Golkar, but the factual ones are Golkar who are trying to open communication to PKS," said Kholid in his statement, Friday, September 30.

According to him, PKS still prioritizes the agenda and format of the coalition with NasDem and Democrats.

"PKS is currently focusing on finalizing the format of the coalition with NasDem and Democrats. For PKS, completing the agenda and format of the coalition between PKS, Nasdem, the Democratic Party is our priority at this time," he said.

Nevertheless, Kholid said exploring communication with fellow parties was a natural thing. Between parties try to see common ground is common.

So far, Kholid said that his relationship with fellow parties is well established. Even with Golkar, which has entered communication at the inter-leading level.

"PKS has a very good relationship with Golkar. Informal gathering between PKS and Golkar leaders is normal because our relationship is very good," he said.

The good relationship between PKS is also realized to members of the United Indonesia Coalition (KIB) in addition to Golkar, namely PAN and PPP.

"Therefore, PKS will continue to maintain good political communication with friends at KIB, smoothly without any obstacles," said Kholid.

As is known, PKS and the Golkar Party apparently often hold meetings. However, the contents of the discussion can only be revealed by the General Chair of the Golkar Party, Airlangga Hartarto.

"They (Golkar-PKS) often meet. It's just a matter of what the agreements are, just ask the general chairman. If the party leaders have often done it sometimes without exposure. But what is the substance, it's better to ask him directly (Airlangga Hartarto)," said Chairman of the Golkar Party Expert Council Agung Laksono in the SCBD area, South Jakarta, Sunday, September 25.

However, Agung did not comment much when asked whether the discussion was related to the 2024 General Election or not.

"Including whether there is our coalition, join the KIB or as he is. Ask him directly," he said. NasDem Chairman of the NasDem Party DPP Willy Aditya said that the formation of the coalition was still very dynamic so anything could happen. "Everyone is still doing communication one and another. What is the guarantee that the existing coalition will depart? The captain is not yet there. The captain is still able to rebuild," Willy told reporters, Thursday, September 29. The deputy chairman of the DPR Baleg emphasized that all political dynamics ahead of the 2024 presidential election could still change. However, NasDem, said Willy, has a time limit until next November regarding preparations for the 2024 presidential election.

"Everything is still very dynamic ahead of the presidential election. NasDem itself has a time limit until November 2022 regarding the preparation for the presidential election," said Willy. He also emphasized that if political cooperation with PKS is canceled, then the coalition plan will automatically be canceled. Because the combination of NasDem and Democrat votes has not met the threshold enough to carry the vice presidential candidate pair.

"If it's not enough, then disband the road. That's what I said dynamics. Oh NasDem also opened other communication," said Willy.
