JAKARTA - The coalition of the Gerindra Party and the National Awakening Party (PKB) seems to be getting serious and solid in the face of the 2024 General Election. The reason is, these two parties will inaugurate the office of the Joint Secretariat (Sekber) in the near future. Secretary General of Gerindra Ahmad Muzani, said that currently the preparation for the inauguration of the Secretary's office is only to complete technical matters. He ensured that the target for the inauguration of the Secretary's office would not shift from October. "God willing, in the near future (the inauguration). Indeed, there are some technical matters that must be prepared, such as office renovations. Yes, technically, there are all kinds of mabels. So it takes time, and we feel it must be prepared better," said Muzani at the DPR Building, Wednesday, September 28. "But the plan doesn't shift. We hope it's at the end of the month. God willing, in October," he added. Furthermore, the Deputy Chairperson of the MPR explained that the Gerindra and PKB offices would be used to think about the effectiveness of the coalition towards the 2024 presidential election. "Sekber is a joint office that we will use to think about the effectiveness of this coalition, both in Gerindra, in PKB," he explained. Along with this, said Muzani, Gerindra is also getting more and more serious about thinking about the electoral candidates and vice presidential candidates which will be promoted in the 2024 presidential election. "Including how these two participating parties can influence the electoral candidates for president and vice presidential candidates jointly appointed by Gerindra and PKB," said Muzani.
