JAKARTA - A viral video on social media shows the action of a mother disbanding dozens of students allegedly trying to commit a brawl.
The video uploaded to the @Jakarta.terkini account, said that the incident occurred on Jalan Soepomo, Menteng, Tebet, South Jakarta, Monday afternoon, September 26.
In the video, the woman is wearing a navy blue t-shirt that reads "Iwan Fals" on the front and the "OI" logo on the back.
While carrying a broomstick, the mothers asked the dozens of students who had gathered to disperse.
"Bubar lo Ye. I reported Mrs. RT lo Ye," shouted the mothers to the students.
He was seen several times hitting a broom that was brought to the power pole while shouting back at the students.
"Soon the police will come, just look at you. It's really rude, it's just a problem for you. I'm really nervous," he said.
Contacted separately, Tebet sub-district head Dyan Airlangga confirmed that the incident occurred in his area.
"The location is in Tebet, but I haven't received any further information," concluded Dyan.
