JAKARTA - A number of student organizations from the Medan City Cipayung Plus Group met with the Governor of Central Java, Ganjar Pranowo, on the sidelines of a working visit to Medan, North Sumatra, last week. They invite discussions about new and renewable energy.

Ganjar, accompanied by the Mayor of Medan Bobby Nasution, shared his experience as a student and was active at GMNI. Ganjar also provides motivation for students to be able to contribute to the progress of the country.

Earlier we talked about it with Mas Ganjar, earlier he shared his experience as a student, especially when he was still GMNI. Then what is the synergy between students now and collaboration between youth, for the progress of this nation together," said Daniel Jonathan, the representative of GMNI.

During the meeting that took place in Si Bolang Durian, Medan Baru, Medan City, students exchanged ideas about new and renewable energy.

Earlier we also discussed new and renewable energy, and also now GMNI is implementing a workshop, discussing a new world order whose main thing is about renewable energy. Especially, about the President's instructions regarding the revolution from conventional energy to electrical energy," he said.

The students seemed very enthusiastic about participating in the discussion.

Today we view Mr. Ganjar as a successful person to the region. Not only that, but also successful in building good communication with the community, especially students, both in government policies and also in strategic terms in government," he said.

In addition, said Daniel, Ganjar is a leader who is good at listening to criticism.

He never forgets to listen to the aspirations of the community. So we view it as a source of inspiration for students throughout Indonesia," he explained.

Governor Ganjar Pranowo revealed that the discussion with students this time was very interesting. Because, they share thoughts about new and renewable energy.

It turns out that they still have a new renewable energy workshop. Interestingly, these young friends also think about future energy and alternative energy," explained Ganjar in his statement, Monday, September 23.

For Ganjar, it is time for students to make a real contribution to the nation and state.

It turns out that my friends are quite concerned about new and renewable energy, about Indonesia's energy future. It doesn't agree that fuel increases are okay, it's okay, but by knowing the data and the facts, we hope that student friends will become more critical, more precise in determining their attitude," said Ganjar.
