More Than 2,500 Joint Personnel Of The TNI-Polri Tampir VVIP In Baubau

JAKARTA - A total of 2,506 joint TNI-Polri personnel in Southeast Sulawesi (Sultra) were alerted to secure the arrival of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) and the First Lady as well as other entourage in Baubau City Regency.

Daily Executor (Plh) of the Head of Information for Korem 143/Haluoleo First Lieutenant Inf Rusmin Ismail said the thousands of personnel would provide security in three areas, namely Baubau City, Buton Regency, and South Buton.

"The deployment of troops led by Danrem 143/Haluolro has been carried out involving 2,506 joint TNI-Polri personnel, Firefighters, Transportation Agency, Health, Basarnas, and Satpol PP," he said, Monday, September 26.

He explained that joint personnel will carry out security on the route that will be passed and the places that will be visited by the President and First Lady Iriana Jokowi.

He stated that in the remarks of Pangdam XIV/Hasanuddin Major General TNI Totok Imam Santoso, which was read by Danrem 143/Haluoleo Commander of Korem 143/HO Brigadier General Yufti Senjaya emphasized that the implementation of security can run in an orderly, safe and smooth manner.

"To achieve this, Danrem emphasized that cooperation and communication are needed that are integrated with all relevant parties," he also said.

In addition, all elements involved in security are asked to maximize preparations for the smooth running of President Jokowi's working visit in the three areas.

All personnel are asked to carry out their duties with a full sense of responsibility, create solid synergies and immediately take preventive and anticipatory steps against every slightest obstacle.

President Jokowi is scheduled to visit Baubau City, Southeast Sulawesi in the context of handing over wage subsidy assistance (BSU) and direct cash assistance (BLT) due to fuel price adjustments from 26 to 27 September 2022.

Deputy Head of the Presidential Secretariat for Protocol, Press and Media at the Ministry of State Secretariat of the Republic of Indonesia Mohamad Yusuf Permana said President Jokowi and Mrs. Iriana would leave for Haluoleo Airport, South Konawe Regency at around 16.00 WIB on Monday 26 September 2022.

"At 19.45 WITA, President Joko Widodo and Mrs. Iriana are expected to arrive at Haluoleo Airport," he said again.

Furthermore, President Joko Widodo and Mrs. Iriana headed to Haluoleo Airport to then go to Baubau City.

In Baubau City, President Jokowi and Mrs. Iriana then headed to the location for the delivery of Wage Subsidy Assistance and the provision of Work Capital Assistance.

After handing over the aid, President Jokowi and Mrs. Iriana with their entourage then headed to Buton Regency and South Buton Regency with the same agenda.

"From Buton Regency and South Buton Regency, the event is over, then President Joko Widodo and Mrs. Iriana and her entourage to Betoambari Airport, Baubau City, then take off to Ternate," said Deputy Head of the Presidential Secretariat for Protocol, Press and Media at the Indonesian Ministry of State Secretariat Mohamad Yusuf Permana.
