IKN Nusantara Government Complex With A Nature Integrated Concept For Work Transformation, Will Have Hybrid Workplace

JAKARTA - The government complex in the National Capital City (IKN) of the Archipelago will be consolidated and integrated with nature. This is a step to realize the transformation of work.

The Head of the IKN Implementation Division for the IKN Implementation Task Force Region, Didiet Arief Akhdiat, said that later the ministries would be close to each other and connected.

"So, there is no need to use private vehicles to enter other ministries and if the distance is close enough by walking," Didiet said in an online seminar, as quoted from Antara, Saturday, September 24.

Didiet also said, besides that there will be a hybrid workingspace (hybrid workplace) that allows employees to meet and work with employees from different agencies.

The work area is also integrated with nature, namely a green corridor that creates healthy and comfortable offices.

In addition, the government complex and workspace in IKN will also adopt a multi-layered space program, where the combination of office functions, facilities and commercial functions is public.

Another thing is a sustainable space where access to multifunctional public-private access between workspaces and collaborative spaces between ministries and institutions.

In IKN, the government complex will also have an integrated work zone, an inclusive working area with and open visual connectivity.

The workspace must also be ready for future technology. Anticipate future technology through digital-based and intelligent infrastructure.

"So this transformation must be translated by friends who designed it, so it must be able to create this," said Didiet.

Previously, the Main Policy Analyst of the Ministry of Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform (Kemenpan-RB) Arizal said that as many as 60 thousand state civil servants (ASN) were planned to be transferred to IKN Nusantara in 2024.

Arizal said the government had mapped out the total number of ASN and related ministries that would be gradually transferred to IKN Nusantara from 2024 to 2045.
