After The JK Together Photo, There Has Been No Anies-AHY Signal Dubbed Nasdem-Democrat-PKS

JAKARTA - Chairman of the DKI Jakarta Democratic DPD, Mujiyono, admitted that his party, Nasdem, and PKS have not yet determined who the presidential candidate (candidate) and vice presidential candidate (cawapres) between Anies Baswedan or Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) will likely be promoted in the 2024 presidential election.

This was conveyed by Mujiyono in response to Anies' moment of togetherness, AHY, with the Head of Nasdem Surya Paloh, PKS President Ahmad Syaikhu, and the warm former Vice President Jusuf Kalla recently.

"If there is a case of the position of presidential and vice presidential candidates, it will later (be discussed)," Mujiyono told reporters, Wednesday, September 21.

Mujiyono admitted that Democratic cadres in Jakarta did want AHY and Anies to duo in the 2024 presidential election. This desire, said Mujiyono, was based on the aspirations accommodated by the majority of the board members of the Democratic Party in DKI Jakarta.

"When asked about the aspirations of the people, especially DKI Jakarta, especially Democrat cadres, on average, want AHY to be paired with Anies," he said.

However, unanimous decision on who the presidential and vice presidential candidates will carry, Mujiyono handed over his successor to the Speaker of the Democratic Party High Council Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) and the party coalition.

Although there is no certainty, he admits that his party continues to communicate intensely with Nasdem and PKS.

"What is certain is in accordance with the direction from the Ketum (AHY) that communication related to the coalition is still being carried out by the Democratic Party together with other parties who often communicate, PKS and Nasdem," said Mujiyono.

Previously, a warm moment occurred at the child wedding reception of the Chairman of Commission VII DPR Nasdem Faction, Sugeng Pratowo on Sunday, September 18. At that moment, Anies and AHY were seen doing a photo session with Surya Paloh, JK, and Syaikhu.

"So, it was the wedding of Mr. Sugeng Suparwo's daughter last night. I witnessed the afternoon, then there was a reception at night. That's all," said Anies when met at the National Monument area, Central Jakarta, Monday, September 19.

Anies said, initially the five figures gathered and chatted about the wedding reception. Then, the discussion began to widen.

When asked about the political discussion towards the 2024 Presidential Election (Pilpres) between him, JK, and the three general chairmen, Anies did not answer straightforwardly, but also did not argue.

"Everything was discussed," he said.
