Ganjar Checks Solo-Yogyakarta Toll Road Development, Beneficial For Airplane Passengers

JAKARTA - Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo reviewed the development of the Solo-Yogyakarta toll road, at the entrance to the Solo toll road. The construction of section I is targeted for completion in 2023.

"We are trying to make sure because yesterday we have set the local government (location determination) and we will accelerate it. So, in this section the target is 2023 to be completed," said Ganjar, Tuesday, September 20.

The construction of the first session was carried out along the Kartosuro-Purwomartani road. If it is completed, it is estimated that it will be beneficial for the increased use of aircraft in Solo.

"Hopefully, if we accelerate it, it will be useful. The calculations are that if the Central Java section is completed and enters Yogya 2023, the potential for people to use planes will run to Solo, possibly the distance is closer," he explained.

Nevertheless, Ganjar still hopes that the full toll road construction until Yogyakarta can be completed according to the target.

"Hopefully, those at Yogya will also go to the new airport quickly. So that people can be served well," he continued.

In general, explained Ganjar, the progress of the toll road construction is quite good. If there are still complaints from the public, they are ready to provide assistance.

The progress is good, that here and there there are still complaints about compensation, we try to assist so that the public understands. Earlier I asked if the appraisal results were also quite good. I'm sure the public will not lose. My job is to accompany two things. The community can understand the compensation and the compensation fits, and the work can run quickly," he said.
