IKN Authority Will Immediately Open Professional Recruitment

JAKARTA - The Archipelago Capital Authority (OIKN) immediately recruited professionals to be placed in a number of vacant positions within the organization under the auspices of the OIKN. The recruitment is guaranteed to move the OIKN no later than the end of 2022.

"The delegation of organizations under the head and deputy head of the OIKN that will be immediately recruited are secretariat secretariat secretaries, seven deputies, as well as Legal and Compliance Work Units," said the Coordinator of the Information and Communication Team for the IKN Sidik Pramono Transition Team in Samarinda, East Kalimantan, Saturday, September 17.

In accordance with the provisions of Law Number 3 of 2022, the IKN Authority is given the slowest time until the end of 2022 to operate so that the recruitment of a number of positions is able to meet the targets as required by the law.

For the organization's filling, explained Sidik, OIKN will recruit talented, professional individuals, as well as apply the meritocracy principle because the capital city of Nusantara that will be built is a world-class future city. For this reason, it is necessary for agile and professional individuals and organizations to answer the challenges of the future.

The recruitment for filling out OIKN officials is expected to immediately assist in carrying out OIKN's duties in preparation, development, and transfer of IKN, as well as the implementation of IKN Special Regional Government, including for the development of IKN and partner areas.

Sidik said the provisions regarding the Organization and OIKN Work Management were contained in the Regulation of the Head of OIKN Number 1 of 2022 dated September 9, 2022.

"This regulation is certainly the basis for determining the organizational structure of the OIKN, including the basis for filling positions or devices under the head and deputy head of the OIKN," said Sidik as quoted by ANTARA.

Referring to the provisions of Presidential Regulation Number 62 of 2022 concerning the Archipelago Capital Authority, Sidik added, at least two deputies are prioritized from elements of the local community in East Kalimantan.

He also said that for the first time the fulfillment of human resources in the position of high-ranking middle leadership was carried out based on the assignment or appointment by the president based on the proposal of the head of the OIKN.
