Construction Of Cibodas Square, Tangerang City Government Is Targeted For Complete Year

BANTEN - The Tangerang City Government (Pemkot) is targeting the construction of the Cibodas Square located on Jalan Borobudur Perumnas II or the former bus terminal to be completed this year.

The head of the Tangerang City Housing and Settlement Service, Sugiharto Achmad Bagdja, said this year the field could be functional and could be used by the community.

"For this year, God willing, it will be completed, especially for jogging tracks, synthetic grass for the field and also the paving block," he said in Tangerang, Banten, Wednesday, September 14.

The Tangerang City Government continues to add public spaces for its people that can be used for activities, sports and children's playgrounds.

Tangerang Mayor Arief R. Wismansyah hopes that the public space can be used by the community for sports activities, playgrounds and also alternative tourism.

"This field was previously a former bus terminal, we are still changing its function, we will make it a Cibodas Square for sports, children's playgrounds, later there will also be MSMEs," he said.

Arief has also instructed the Perkim Service to be able to maximize the arrangement of land so that it can also be used for MSMEs and children's playgrounds.

"For the arrangement of the location, please maximize it, so that the view is also good. The water disposal channel is considered, test it so that if it rains water can flow properly," he said.

Arief also hopes that contractors will be able to complete their work according to the specified time so that the community can immediately benefit from it.

"Do the work properly so that the quality is also good," he said.
