JAKARTA - North Jakarta Metro Police officers arrested the exhibitionist with the initials HH (29) who was caught on a CCTV camera at the Sunter Indah Housing RW012, Sunter Jaya Village, Tanjung Priok.

The suspect HH had committed immoral acts in front of the female household assistant (ART) with the initials D (20), thus making the victim not dare to go out of the house again when ordered by her employer to throw garbage.

Based on information, the perpetrator was arrested by the Sunter Indah housing security officer after the victim reported the incident to the Rukun Warga (RW) management on Tuesday, September 13.

When interrogated, the suspect admitted to committing the depraved act because he was prompted by lust in accordance with the confession reported by the victim to the Tanjung Priok Police Criminal Investigation Unit.

In order to account for his actions, the suspect was taken to the North Jakarta Metro Police Headquarters.

The exhibitionist suspect is subject to punishment in accordance with Article 281 of the Criminal Code, and flex-specialistly in Article 36 in conjunction with Article 10 of Law Number 44 of 2008 concerning Pornography.

Article 281 of the Criminal Code states that "He is sentenced to imprisonment for a maximum of 2 years and 8 months or with a maximum fine of IDR 4,500: 1. Whoever deliberately in public damages decency, 2. Whoever deliberately damages decency in front of other people whose presence there is not on his own accord".

Article 36 of the Pornography Law states "every person who shows himself or another person in a performance or in public that describes nudity, sexual exploitation, perggamaan, or other pornographic person as referred to in Article 10 of the Pornography Law shall be sentenced to a maximum imprisonment of 10 years and/or a maximum fine of IDR 5 billion".
