JAKARTA - The PDIP faction of the DKI Jakarta DPRD has proposed an interruption in the plenary meeting of the Announcement of the Dismissal of Regional Heads and Deputy Regional Heads whose term of office ends in 2022. The plenary meeting was also attended by the Governors of DKI Jakarta Anies Baswedan and Ahmad Riza Patria. Member of the PDIP faction of the DKI Jakarta DPRD, Jhonny Simanjuntak, in his interruption, brought up a number of promises from Anies' campaign in the 2017-2022 Regional Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMD), which has not yet been achieved and has minimal realization. A number of Anies' programs that were brought up include the lack of construction of the Rp0 DP House unit, OK OCE, to normalization or naturalization of rivers that have not yet started construction. "In our opinion, the promise of a gubrernur campaign implemented in 23 flagship programs at the RPJMD is not realized, for example, 0 rupiah down payment, OK OCE, naturalization of rivers," said Jhonny at the DKI Jakarta DPRD building, Tuesday, September 13. It's not over yet that Jhonny spoke, one member of the Nasdem Faction interrupted. The Nasdem faction views that this plenary meeting is not a place to give critical notes about Anies' programs during his tenure. "The leader's interruption (the plenary meeting). He said that another program that has not been realized so far is the provision of clean water services that reach all areas of Jakarta, the stagnation of waste management development, and poor quality public services. However, Jhonny emphasized that PDIP still considers Anies a good political partner. "We are of the opinion, as a political partner, the Governor with us, the DPRD, especially the PDIP faction, we consider us to remain friends," said Jhonny. As is known, in this plenary meeting, the Chairman of the DKI Jakarta DPRD, Prasetyo Edi Marsudi, officially submitted the proposal to dismiss DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan and Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta Ahmad Riza Patria. After reading this announcement, the leadership of the DPRD together with Anies and Riza signed the minutes. On that occasion, Prasetyo said that today's plenary meeting is one of the processes for administrative completeness in the context of the dismissal of regional heads and deputy regional heads whose term of office ends in 2022. The implementation of the plenary meeting is intended to submit proposals by the leadership of the DPRD to the President through the Minister of Home Affairs in order to determine the dismissal. The terms of office of Anies Baswedan and Ahmad Riza Patria are known to end on October 16, 2022. So, starting from October 17 to the 2024 election, Jakarta will be led by the Acting Governor of DKI.
